Alyssa Burnett Adult Life Center

Hours and Directions

Hours: Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

On Fridays, our office is staffed, but students often attend outings and events. We provide tours as part of our intake process for new participants; however, we do not allow drop-in visitors.

Driving

I-405 North (Bellevue)

  • Take I-405 North to Exit 23 for WA-522 West (Seattle).
  • Merge onto WA-522 West/Woodinville Drive.
  • Turn right onto WA-527 North/Bothell Way NE.
  • Go 0.6 miles, and the Alyssa Burnett Adult Life Center will be on your left.

I-5 South (Everett)

  • Take I-5 South to Exit 182 for I-405 South (Bellevue/Renton).
  • Take I-405 South to Exit 26 toward Bothell.
  • Merge onto WA-527 North/Bothell–Everett Highway.
  • Go 1.3 miles on WA-527/Bothell Way NE, and the Alyssa Burnett Adult Life Center will be on your right.

I-5 North (Seattle)

  • Take I-5 North to Exit 168B.
  • Merge onto WA-520 East* (Bellevue/Kirkland).
  • Take the I-405 North exit for Everett.
  • Take I-405 North to Exit 23 for WA-522 West (Seattle).
  • Take WA-522 West/Woodinville Drive.
  • Turn right onto WA-527 North/Bothell Way NE for 0.6 miles, and the Alyssa Burnett Adult Life Center will be on your left.

WA-520 has a toll to cross. You will get a bill in the mail. Tolls could be up to $5 one way. Visit Good to Go! for more information.

I-5 North (No Tolls)

  • Take I-5 North to Exit 175 for WA-523/NE 145th Street.
  • Turn left onto 5th Avenue NE.
  • Turn right onto NE 145th Street/WA-523.
  • Turn left onto WA-522 North/Bothell Way NE.
  • Turn left onto WA-527 North/Bothell Way NE for 0.6 miles, and the Alyssa Burnett Adult Life Center will be on your left.
Parking

There is free parking in front of or behind the building. The main entrance is in the back and up the hill.

ACCESS and DART

The Burnett Center is an approved ACCESS and DART drop-off and pick-up site. Please note the entrance is in the back of the building, in the upper parking lot.

About Our Facility

To meet the special needs of people with autism spectrum disorder, the Alyssa Burnett Adult Life Center provides structure, visual cues and a sensory-sensitive space. The center features:

  • A large community room with hardwood floors, natural light and ceilings that absorb sound
  • Seven rooms used for classes and activities, complete with art supplies, musical instruments, and more
  • Commercial-grade kitchen
  • Elevator to navigate our two-story building
  • Sensory room with a swing, beanbag chairs, iPads and more
  • Media room with 70-inch TVs and gaming consoles
  • Whiteboard walls in downstairs classrooms
  • Covered, outdoor picnic tables
  • 12,000 square feet of space
